The project “Powder Feeding Laser Additive Intelligent Equipment and Key Process Technology for High-end Power Equipment” led by him has obtained 12 authorized invention patents, 30 utility models, 10 appearance patents, and 15 software copyrights. Lu Bingheng, a well-known 3D printing expert and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Xu Zhilei, a well-known nuclear power expert and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, both believe that the project has reached the international advanced level, and some technologies have reached international leading levels.
High-end power equipment is hailed as an important engine for the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry. The core technology must be in one’s own hands, and the maintenance of core components must be independently controllable.
The project systematically carried out research on powder-feeding laser additive intelligent equipment and key process technologies for high-end power equipment. For the first time, it achieved all-around laser additive repair and strengthening of large-scale hydropower units, solving the problem of difficult disassembly and assembly of its core components. The high cost of transportation and replacement and the problems of in-situ automated repair; the invention of adaptive net-shape repair equipment and repair methods for aero-engine turbine blades broke through the limitations of traditional laser additive manufacturing technology.
In the Science and Technology Progress Award approved and issued by the China Petroleum and Chemical Automation Application Association, Chengdu Qingshi Laser’s “Key Technology and Application of Wellbore Corrosion Protection for Ultra-deep Sour Oil and Gas Wells in Shunbei” project won the second prize in the Science and Technology Progress Award.
